Forest Bathing: LUPUNA

This multi-sensory spa installation from Marshmallow Laser Feast that premiered in Euskirchen, Germany, invites audiences to step through a waterfall into a sensorial experience where a tropical downpour saturates the senses through spacial audio, light and rain machines. Visitors are then led to a second zone where they recline on temperature-controlled, bespoke lily pad furniture and gaze upwards at a 4.5-meter projection for an open-eyed meditation looking into the canopy of a Lupuna tree.

I worked across this multi-stakeholder project collaborating with spatial designers to oversee spatial development and custom fabrication, as well as a technical team on R&D and hardware procurement. I oversaw all aspects of the project from concepting through to delivery, including line producing a team of Houdini artists, working with the Art Director and Creative Director on visual content, a sound designer, and oversaw the 10-day install and tech period onsite.
